Alex Cooper first gained recognition as co-creator and host of the popular podcast "Call Her Daddy." The podcast's success led to a three-year exclusive deal signed with Spotify in 2021. This contract positioned Cooper as the highest-earning female podcaster on Spotify and the second-highest paid overall. The podcast's popularity continued to surge, earning the title of the second most popular podcast globally on Spotify in 2024. Cooper's ability to attract high-profile guests to her podcast led Rolling Stone to compare her to the renowned journalist Barbara Walters.
In 2023, Cooper's accomplishments were recognized on a global scale when she was named to the TIME100 Next list. Later that year, she expanded her reach within the podcasting industry by launching The Unwell Network, a podcast network developed in partnership with Spotify’s Megaphone.
