Aleksandr Yampolskiy Biography
Dr. Aleksandr Yampolskiy is co-founder and CEO of SecurityScorecard, the leading security rating company used by more than 3,000 companies, such as Cigna, Coca-Cola and Liberty Mutual. Dr. Yampolskiy was a 2021 Ernst & Young New York Entrepreneur of the Year winner and a global innovator selected by the World Economic Forum. Dr. Yampolskiy is an active mentor and an angel investor in more than 20 leading enterprise software startups. Dr. Yampolskiy has published a book, "The Perfect Scorecard", which explains how to bridge communication between CISOs and board members.
Dr. Yampolskiy previously served as CTO of BlogTalkRadio, the largest online radio network, which averaged more than 40 million visitors a month and led to its acquisition. Prior to that, Dr. Yampolskiy was global CISO at Gilt Groupe during its growth from 200 to more than 2,000 employees and $600 million in revenue. Dr. Yampolskiy also served as a lead technologist at Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Oracle, among other companies. Dr. Yampolskiy earned his Ph.D. in cryptography from Yale University.
Dr. Yampolskiy is an active speaker and contributor to major media outlets, including CNN, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Dr. Yampolskiy lives with his family in the tri-state area and enjoys working out, chess, the arts and travel.
