Alden Ehrenreich is an actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. Ehrenreich was discovered at a friend's bat mitzvah reception by Steven Spielberg, who watched a comedy video created by Ehrenreich and a friend. He was then contacted by DreamWorks, and the meeting with Spielberg led to acting roles on television shows such as "Supernatural" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." From those early television appearances, Ehrenreich began building his film résumé by appearing in Francis Ford Coppola's films "Tetro" and "Twixt." He went on to star as Ethan Wate in "Beautiful Creatures" and appeared as Whip Taylor in Park Chan-wook's thriller "Stoker," before playing the stepson of Cate Blanchett in the Woody Allen-directed drama "Blue Jasmine."
