Alan Robertson

Alan Robertson is the eldest son of Phil and Miss Kay Robertson, the patriarch and matriarch of the Duck Commander family business. Robertson grew up hunting and fishing, contributing to the foundation of the family’s duck call enterprise by traveling throughout Louisiana and Arkansas with his father to sell products directly from their truck. He holds an associate degree from White's Ferry Road School of Biblical Studies and a bachelor’s degree in ministry from Sunset International Bible Institute. Robertson served as a pastor for more than 22 years at White's Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, Louisiana, before returning to Duck Commander.

Robertson gained national recognition when he joined the cast of A&E’s reality series "Duck Dynasty," where he was known as the only adult male in the family without a beard. His appearance on the show’s season four premiere contributed to record-breaking cable viewership. Robertson has spoken publicly about using the platform to share his faith and reach a broader audience. "Duck Dynasty" aired for 11 seasons and 131 episodes on A&E.

Robertson has authored and co-authored five books, including "A New Season," "The Duck Commander Devotional for Couples," and "Desperate Forgiveness." He and his wife, Lisa Robertson, travel across the United States sharing their experiences with faith, marriage restoration, and advocacy for the pro-life movement. Their personal story was adapted into the Lifetime movie "Faith and Forgiveness: A Duck Dynasty Love Story."

Robertson serves as co-host of the "Tread Lively" podcast and "Unashamed with The Robertson Family." He co-founded Restoration Productions with his cousin Zach Dasher, expanding his work in faith-based media. With experience in pastoral ministry, reality television, Christian authorship, and public speaking, Robertson addresses audiences on topics including faith, family, marriage, and personal transformation.
