Ajay Naidu

Ajay Naidu is a versatile actor known for his performances across film, television, and theater best known for playing Samir in the cult movie "Office Space."

In addition to "Office Space," Naidu has appeared in "Bad Santa," "The Wrestler," and "Requiem for a Dream," among others, as well as Richard Linklater’s "SubUrbia," for which he earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination. He directed and starred in the feature film "Ashes," which garnered him Best Actor wins at both The New York Indian Film Festival and the London Asian Film Festival.

On television, he has appeared in a variety of acclaimed series, such as "Elsbeth," "The Sopranos," "Dr. Death," "Uncoupled," and "WeCrashed." His extensive credits also include roles in "Blindspot," "Billions," "The Blacklist," and "The West Wing," to name a few.

Naidu trained extensively in classical theatre and received his diploma from Harvard University's American Repertory Theatre's Institute for Advanced Theatre Training. He has performed around the world in a vast array of theatre productions, including productions at Steppenwolf, The National Theatre London, Pritivi Theatre Bombay, and the Public Theatre in New York. He has spent the last decade collaborating extensively with Theatre Complicite.
