Adrian Newey

Adrian Newey is a British Formula One engineer widely regarded as one of the greatest car designers in motorsport history. Born in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1958, he earned a degree in aeronautics and astronautics from the University of Southampton, where his fascination with racing technology began. His early career included stints in IndyCar and Formula One with teams such as March and Leyton House, where his innovative aerodynamic designs quickly drew attention across the racing world.

Newey rose to prominence in the 1990s with Williams and McLaren, designing championship-winning cars that helped drivers like Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Mika Häkkinen, and Damon Hill secure multiple world titles.
