Addison Rose Vincent

Addison Rose Vincent is a transgender and nonbinary advocate, educator, and influencer based in Los Angeles. Vincent has developed a career as a speaker and consultant specializing in LGBTQ+ inclusion and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training, drawing on lived experience and advocacy work to educate organizations globally.

Vincent’s activism began at Chapman University, where they challenged exclusionary Greek Life policies as the first openly transgender participant in sorority recruitment and the Delta Queen Philanthropy Pageant, earning the Miss Congeniality title. Their undergraduate thesis contributed to the establishment of Chapman’s first Cross Cultural Center. Vincent has contributed to HuffPost, addressing violence against transgender women of color and sharing perspectives on gender identity.

In their professional roles, Vincent has served as LGBTQ+ Advocate at Strength United, Youth Member of the Los Angeles Transgender Advisory Council, Manager of Programs at TransLatin@ Coalition, and Risk Reduction Counselor at Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team. Vincent founded Break The Binary, a consulting firm providing LGBTQ+ and DEI education internationally, and served as Interim Executive Director of the Nonbinary & Intersex Recognition Project, advocating for X gender marker options on official documents.

Vincent is a board member of LA Pride and Project Director for History Reimagined, focusing on breaking cycles of domestic violence and addressing the school-to-prison pipeline through youth empowerment. They have appeared on the "Dr. Phil Show" and in national awareness campaigns, recognized for expertise in gender inclusivity and public speaking. Vincent’s advocacy and visibility contribute to policy and cultural conversations around gender diversity.

Outside of professional commitments, Vincent enjoys pottery, hiking with their dog Xena, and caring for houseplants.
