Adam Lowitt

Adam Lowitt is a television producer, writer, and stand-up comedian recognized for his extensive career in late-night television. Lowitt joined "The Daily Show" as a post-production assistant and advanced through various roles, including tape coordinator, footage supervisor, segment producer, senior segment producer, senior producer, and supervising producer, ultimately becoming executive producer. His progression within the show reflects his versatility and comprehensive understanding of television comedy production.

A twelve-time Emmy Award-winning executive producer, Lowitt played a key role in shaping the voice and vision of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" during a period of critical acclaim. His Emmy Awards were earned in the Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series category, with wins spanning four consecutive years. When the show transitioned to host Trevor Noah, Lowitt continued as executive producer, helping to guide the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program through a significant period of change. He also appeared as an on-air contributor during this time.

Lowitt's production experience extends beyond "The Daily Show." He served as executive producer on Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy series "Who Is America?," a hidden-camera project that generated widespread cultural discussion. Additional executive producer credits include "Immoral Compass," a dark comedy anthology series exploring complex moral dilemmas, and "What Just Happened??!"
