Aaron Bay-Schuck

Aaron Bay-Schuck is a music industry executive serving as CEO and co-chairman of Warner Records Group. Bay-Schuck is known for his work in artist development, A&R, and music business leadership. He began his career after graduating from Columbia University with a degree in political science, entering the industry as a temp worker at Interscope before being hired as a full-time assistant. He later moved to Atlantic Records as an A&R assistant, where he discovered, signed, and developed Bruno Mars, who has sold more than 170 million singles and 26 million albums worldwide. Bay-Schuck also co-wrote the hit song "Right Round" by Flo Rida featuring Kesha, which achieved five times platinum status in the United States and sold more than 10 million copies globally.

Bay-Schuck advanced to senior vice president of A&R for Atlantic and was later named president of A&R at Universal's Interscope Geffen A&M, working with artists including Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez, Maroon 5, X Ambassadors, and Zedd. He was appointed CEO and co-chairman of Warner Records, where he led a significant transformation by restructuring the artist roster and signing new talent. At Warner Records, Bay-Schuck signed Teddy Swims, Benson Boone, and Zach Bryan early in their careers. Swims' "Lose Control" reached No. 1 in the United States, Boone's "Beautiful Things" achieved No. 1 worldwide, and Bryan's Warner debut was certified four times platinum, with Bryan setting a U.S. concert attendance record at Michigan Stadium.

Bay-Schuck's role expanded to leading Warner Records Group, which includes Warner Records US, Warner Records Nashville, and Warner Records UK. He has contributed to new chapters for artists such as Linkin Park and Cher and played a role in the success of Dua Lipa's "Dance the Night" from the "Barbie" soundtrack. Bay-Schuck also served as executive producer of the documentary "Tom Petty, Somewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers," which won a Producers Guild Award.

Bay-Schuck has been recognized by Variety and Billboard for his influence in the music industry, appearing on the Billboard Power 100, Variety 500, and Billboard Country Power Players lists. He is known for advocating an artist-first approach and emphasizing the importance of patience, vision, and a commitment to music in building a successful record label.
