Howard Cross is aregular in the Giants starting lineup for the past nine seasons...Had streak of 71 consecutive starts and 103 straight games played come to an end when he underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove torn cartilage in his right knee and missed the Washington game on 10/29/95...Had his streak of 64 consecutive starts broken against Indianapolis (11/14/99) when the Giants opened in a three wide receiver set. Started in 15 of 16 games for the 1999 season
