Dr. David & Lisa Frisbie jointly serve as executive directors of The Center for Marriage & Family Studies, which they founded in early 1982. Frequently-quoted experts on marriage and family life, they have traveled extensively to teach, speak and train --- including all 50 United States, 11 of Canada’s provinces, and more than 40 world nations.

Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie have authored or co-authored ten published books and dozens of articles in journals and mainstream magazines. They are published by Strang Communications, Group Publishing, Beacon Hill Press and Harvest House Publishers – with whom they feature a current series for families in crisis.

David & Lisa have been named and quoted in “USA Today,” “The New York Times,” “The St. Paul Pioneer Press” and numerous other newspapers. They have been interviewed on ABC-TV and CBS-Radio nationally. They have been featured on numerous local and national radio broadcasts and recently taped 45 minutes of conversation with Focus on the Family in Colorado. Dr. David Frisbie was also recently a guest on “MoneyLife” radio with Chuck Bentley (Crown Ministries). Dr. David Frisbie is an adjunct faculty member at Southern Nazarene University, where he teaches family studies and gerontology in the graduate and professional degree program. In addition, Dr. Frisbie has taught and lectured at universities and seminaries in North America and Western Europe, frequently teaching courses in marriage counseling and pre-marriage counseling.

Since the late 1980’s both Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie have often been referred to as “America’s Remarriage Experts.” (Their recent book ‘Happily Remarried’ is based on a seminar for remarried couples which they pioneered in the late 1980’s.) Their brand-new release “The Soul-Mate Marriage: The Spiritual Journey of Becoming One” was written as Dr. and Mrs. Frisbie worked with the “FireProof” movie campaign to produce articles, teaching aids and other peripheral materials in connection with the movie’s release. “Soul-Mate” was timed by the publisher (Harvest House Publishers) to coincide with the movie’s national release date in the U.S.

Dr. David Frisbie is an ordained minister and has performed more than 300 weddings worldwide, in venues as distant as Holland and Switzerland. He is a frequent chapel speaker and graduation/commencement speaker at high schools, colleges and universities. In early 2008 Dr. Frisbie began speaking for the ‘Dynamic Dads’ program which features parental involvement with their school-age children. Married since 1978, David and Lisa travel constantly to speak and teach together as a couple.
