Sanjeev Bikhchandani is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Info Edge, India’s leading Internet classifieds company. Info Edge owns and runs Naukri and Naukri Gulf (jobs); Jeevansathi (matrimonials); 99acres and All Check Deals (property); Brijj (professional networking); Ask Naukri (career advice); and Quadrangle (executive job search).
Info Edge was founded in 1995, and received venture investment from ICICI Venture, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and Sherpalo Ventures. The Company went public in late 2006, becoming the first Indian Internet company to go public on an Indian stock exchange.
Sanjeev has been an entrepreneur since 1990. Prior to that he worked in marketing at Glaxo SmithKline (then HMM) and in advertizing at Lintas. He studied Economics at St. Stephen’s College in Delhi and Management at IIM Ahmedabad.
