Rick B Longie

Dr. Rick B. Longie is committed to helping families in the community experience improved health and vitality. He speaks regularly to local schools, businesses, and organizations on health, wellness, and safety topics. He enjoys educating others on how to manage stress better, how to prevent injury in the workplace and at home, and how to maintain peak performance in all facets of life. His mission is to empower as many people as possible to experience their optimal health potential through genuine care and education.

Dr. Longie received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1979 from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City in Missouri. He has done extensive post-graduate studies in: clinical acupuncture (no needle method), Gonstead Technique, Thompson Technique, Pediatric Care, Myovision Surface EMG, Infrared Thermography, X-ray diagnosis and Spinal rehabilitation. Some of his specialties include: pediatric care, family wellness, sports injuries, automobile injuries, and work related injuries. Dr. Longie has been practicing for 26 years and is the owner of Longie Chiropractic Health Center.

Dr. Longie is a member of, The Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce, Corporate Health Educators, World Chiropractic Alliance, International Pediatric Association, National Wellness Foundation, International Chiropractors Association, Doctor’s Speakers Bureau, American Consumer Education Foundation, as well as a current member and the former secretary of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association.  

Dr. Longie lives locally and enjoys educating others, socializing, playing golf, reading, traveling and spending time with his daughter and son.
