This nontechnical approach allows financial professionals to convert elevated investor uncertainty, anxiety, and concerns about risk from business frustrations into powerful business and trust building forces. Michael’s writings and articles have appeared in national industry-wide publications and he conducts workshops and seminars around the country for investment professionals and/or their clients on a number of subjects including practical user-friendly ways to better understand and manage investment risk. His numerous presentations and workshops have included custom programs for investment industry professionals on the campuses of Harvard and Columbia Universities Mr. Carpenter has an outstanding reputation for helping individual investors make the most of challenging markets and helping investment professionals, investment marketing and sales professionals, and their firms, energize their business growth in any market or economic conditions. Mike’s 35 plus years in the financial services include experience as a successful financial advisor, division manager, and senior, national level positions with firms including UBS/PaineWebber Inc., John Hancock Financial Services, Inc., MFS, Transamerica Capital Inc., and Rydex Global Advisors before establishing his own consulting firm in 2003.
