After receiving his M.B.A. in finance from New York University in the early 1960's, Wollin became an investment analyst on Wall Street, then a top salesman. Over the past 35 years, he has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and many other business publications around the world.

In 1980, Institutional Investor magazine surveyed professional money managers throughout the United States.
