Andrew Seybold

Andrew Seybold heads a consulting firm and is editor-in-chief of a monthly newsletter entitled Andrew Seybold’s Outlook. He is recognized as one of the top industry analysts within the microcomputer and communications fields, and is frequently called upon to provide information about both topics to the press. Mr. Seybold is considered by many to be the leading authority on the mobile computing and communications industry. Andrew Seybold’s Outlook is a newsletter focused on wireless and mobile computing and communications. The newsletter reviews hardware, software, and services from both the computing and communications industry. It is a monthly publication that is written in non-technical language from an end-user’s perspective. In addition to his newsletter, Mr. Seybold writes for several trade publications covering the convergence of mobile computing and wireless communications. Wireless Data University is a trade show produced by Andrew Seybold’s Outlook. WDU is held twice yearly in conjunction with the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association’s Wireless and Wireless Apps shows and is the only such program endorsed by the CTIA. Andrew Seybold Group, LLC is a consulting firm specializing in the space where mobile computing and advanced communications technology meet: connected mobility. Mr. Seybold has recently expanded ASG to include a partnership of experts. His current and past clientele include most major companies in the computer and communications industry. Andrew Seybold is also co-founder and board member of the Portable Computer and Communications Association (PCCA), a not-for- profit computer and communications industry association dedicated to establishing standards for wireless data communications.
