Thomas J. Miller Biography
Thomas J. Miller, Jr. is CEO of Siemens Healthcare’s customer solutions division, which encompasses the organization’s worldwide sales and services organization, as well as the health care information technology business. Previously, Miller was a member of the group board of Siemens Medical Solutions, and he has an impressive record of leadership within Siemens and other multi-national companies. He led Siemens’ health care information technology business, the magnetic resonance division, and the US sales and service organization. He has held leadership roles at Carl Zeiss, Inc. and Analogic Corporation, and he co-founded LightLab Imaging, which commercialized a new diagnostic imaging method—optical coherence tomography—enabling the acquisition and display of real-time ultra high-resolution cross-sectional images with light. For more than 30 years, Miller has been devoted to the development of medical technology and transforming how we approach the prediction, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
