22 months ago I had a tumor in my small intestine which caused an Intussusception.  I had to have emergency surgery to remove 22 inches of my small intestine and I also had septic shock.  I was a very sick.  My health declined rapidly for about 7 months and I had a few close calls.  It was a very difficult time!  After hearing one bad report after the next from doctors, I had a revelation!  Food can heal our bodies.  I began eating clean and healthy started getting better.  It's no miracle, it's just the power of eating for healing and prevention. 

My illness was completely preventable.  I ate unhealthy for 33 years, which caused the tumor in my small intestine that lead to the Intussusception and then caused a domino effect of declining health.

My very first speaking engagement was at a cancer support group. I had people come up to me afterwards hugging me, thanking me and emailing me about how my story changed their families lives.  I was SO touched !

In my presentation I talk a little bit about my background in prevention, tell my story of being ill, talk about US health statistics, educate about what ingredients we should limit or avoid all together, what foods we should be feeding our families,  I give easy tips and ideas on how to get our families eating foods we may not be used to eating (even our kids), how to make grocery shopping easier and that you don't have to break the bank to eat healthy.  I believe people have just responded well to me because they are really impacted by my story of being ill. . 

I wholeheartedly believe that everything that's happened from getting sick to being let go has all led to this!  I'm currently working on creating a website for my health and wellness business which includes speaking and hands on grocery shopping classes.  I'm having a video taken of a speaking engagement in 2 weeks.  Hopefully All American can help me promote myself and point me in the right direction.Kindest Regards,
