Susan Lynn Meyer Biography
Susan Lynn Meyer went to college in Baltimore, at Johns Hopkins University. She started out as a math major but then changed to English.
She went on to study literature in graduate school at UCLA (where she got her master’s degree in English literature) and then at Yale (where she got her Ph.D.). She is now an English professor at Wellesley College outside Boston. She writes literary criticism (books and articles about works of literature) as well as children’s books. She teaches courses in Victorian literature, American literature, and creative writing.
She lives outside Boston with her husband, Ken, and daughter, Hannah.
