Sheila Cluff Biography
Sheila Cluff is the owner of sister spas, The Oaks at Ojai and The Palms at Palm Springs, in addition to being president and founder of Fitness Inc., Fit Two and health Holidays Inc. She is the 66-year old mother of four and grandmother of four who lives the lifestyle she teaches. A former star and host of her own fitness talk shows on NBC and KABC, Cluff began her career as a Sonja Henie professional figure skater. She introduced “Cardiovascular Dance” to the world in the l950’s which today is known simply as “aerobics”.
In addition to overseeing operations and teaching at both The Oaks and The Palms Sheila has authored four books, publishes Spa Update, a newsletter with 50,000 circulation; writes several syndicated columns on fitness; has produced four fitness videos and is a founding member of the Committee of 200, is a past member of the governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and serves on the Intercontinental Hotels Advisory Travel Board, the C200 foundation board and the International Spa Association (ISPA) education foundation board.
