Shawne K. Duperon

Shawne started her own production and media training company, ShawneTV, in 1999. Her client list includes: Ford Motor Company, Newman's Own, The Henry Ford Museum, Delphi, The History Channel and Detroit Medical Center among others. You can see her reports from around the world for the likes of the Science Museum of London and “World Business Review,” with Alexander Haig.

She's filmed many famous people such as Bill Cosby, Aretha Franklin, Issac Stern, President Jimmy Carter, Senator Hillary Clinton, Gov. Jeb Bush, Dr. Jane Goodall, Barry Sanders, Phil Mickelson and Gloria Steinham to name a few. Shawne is currently finishing up a show for The History Channel on Federal Judge Damon J. Keith. She is currently working on a show on civil rights legend Dr. Dorothy Height.

Shawne is a PhD candidate at Wayne State University with an emphasis in mass media and gossip. Her research focuses on our cultural conversations and how they surface in media.

She has won numerous awards including Emmy nominations, Clarions and Telly Awards for her work in television production. Shawne was also named by the National Association of Women Business Owners…. Innovator of the year for 2005.. for her innovative and cutting edge media training and keynotes.

Prior to TV, Shawne was a Kirby vaccumm saleswoman, had Ronald McDonald fundraisers in her back yard at the age of 9, and played her violin (instead of caroling) on Detroit porches at Christmas to get fast cash!

Shawne is a member of the National Speakers Association and loves teaching people how to get on TV, ultimately transforming their relationships with media.
