Roman Kirsch Biography
Roman Kirsch, 24, is an entrepreneur and business angel who is passionate about bringing the best out of people and delivering smiles to the world. He founded and has been the CEO of the inspirational online design website Casacanda, which was acquired in 2012 by Fab.com. After the acquisition he was serving as Managing Director for the company in Europe, expanding into 24 countries. During his term Fab.com has been the fastest growing e-commerce company in the world and managed to raise more than $150m in venture capital after 18 months of operation. Prior to this, Roman has gained experience in companies such as Goldman Sachs, the European Founders Fund, Booz and Company and KupiVIP.ru. Due to his own family background Roman supports the Vodafone Foundation as Chairman of their Social mobility programme "Vodafone Chance", which helps young students from lower- and middle class backgrounds to apply and excel at top univiersities. Roman studied at the London School of Economics, the WHU Otto-Beisheim School of Management and the University of Southern California.
