Robert S. Laura

Robert Laura is the President of Financial IQ and is the author of Financial Karma & Financial Perspectives.  Robert has been quoted in the Journal of Financial Planning and at Forbes.com.

He has established a presence in the financial services industry by working as a financial advisor, trust officer, sales manager, and bank vice president.  His diverse background has allowed him the opportunity to work with the wealthy,

affluent, middle and working class.

By focusing on this financial planning road less traveled, Robert has pioneered strategies that help both individuals and couples achieve the financial life they desire. 

Robert has found his role in helping people better understand how past experiences, personal motivations, and individual feelings about money are impacting their financial livelihoods.

Robert has appeared on "Real Money Radio" with Deborah Owens and the "Financial Pathways" radio show with Bev Day.Robert holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University and holds the designations of Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC).  

Robert is a member of the National Speaker's Association, Nazrudin Project, and

National Committee on Planned Giving.   

When he's not working, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter,

studying various aspects of life, and participating in recreational sports.
