Ray Rice Biography
Ray Rice is a running back for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. He played college football at Rutgers. He was then drafted by the Ravens in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. At the end of the 2011 season, he was ranked as the Ravens' second all-time leading rusher behind Jamal Lewis with 5,171 yards, and attempts (1,145). He is ranked second (tied with Willis McGahee) all-time for rushing touchdowns (31) and third for combined touchdowns (36) in Ravens history.
During the 2012 season, Rice received the AFC offensive Player of the Week award for avoiding San Diego Chargers defenders for 30 yards and getting the first down in what Ravens' coach John Harbaugh dubbed as the play that will "go down in history."
In February 2013, Rice won his first Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans.
