Emily Post's great granddaughter-in-law is a spokesperson for the Emily Post Institute that was created by Emily in 1946 to serve as a "civility barometer" for American society. It remains the definitive source on etiquette. Peggy Post began her work with the Institute succeeding her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Post -- after Elizabeth's 30-year tenure with the Institute.

Post's first book, the 16th edition of Emily Post's Etiquette, marked the 75th anniversary of Etiquette and its influence on society. Soon after, the Posts published their first hardcover title on the subject of business etiquette, The Etiquette Advantage in Business: Personal Skills for Professional Success.

Post’s second book, Emily Post's Entertaining, came next, followed with a major title on weddings, Emily Post's Weddings and the companion piece, Emily Post's Wedding Planning.

In addition to books, Post writes a monthly etiquette column in Good Housekeeping magazine, a Post tradition since 1970. She also writes a monthly etiquette column for Parents magazine, providing parents with advice on raising polite children and for Bride Again magazine, the first publication dedicated to the encore bride.

A well-known media personality, Post conducts hundreds of interviews annually. She has provided etiquette advice on network programs including The Today Show and Dateline and CBS Nightly News and This Morning, as well as networks such as CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, FOX, A&E, Lifetime Television, Animal Planet, and the Bloomberg Business Network. She has also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, and Live With Regis and Kathie Lee.
