Pauline George

 Pauline George, President of PG Training & Consulting, specializes in consulting, training, speaking and coaching to enable organizations to meet their people development needs according to their mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives.  The mission of PG Training & Consulting is to facilitate organizations in the process of developing people in order to increase productivity, competence and effectiveness, thereby giving that organization the competitive edge.  Needs analysis and assessment is a component of PG Training & Consulting.  Pauline is a licensed user of 2020 Insight Gold Assessment Software, a product of Performance Support Systems which fosters feedback cultures.

Pauline has been consulting, training and speaking since 1986.  PG Training & Consulting facilitates approximately 80 - 100 training programs each year impacting from 1500 - 2000 persons, usually in small groups of 6 - 25.  International audiences have included training presented for the International Management Development Institute and the Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors.  In addition, Pauline speaks to varying size audiences, facilitates train-the-trainer sessions and performs executive coaching one-on-one.  In the last couple of years we have served approximately 12 - 15 clients, most of them on a longer term basis.  These clients come from the following environments:  Government, Education, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Associations, Human Service Agencies, and Manufacturing.

Pauline is a certified consultant for Inscape Publishing since 1986, trained to use their instruments and models, i.e. DiSC, to accomplish training and development results.  Pauline received a product champion award in 1997 for her expertise in using the Inscape resources for management development training.  Pauline is also an affiliate for Vital Learning, a publisher of classroom and on-line curriculum.  In 1995, Pauline was chosen in competition with a group of 17 training companies in the Pittsburgh area to develop and implement a Basic Supervision program for the City of Pittsburgh.  Currently and for the past three years Pauline has directed a project creating training and curriculum on the topic of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She received national recognition in 1991 winning the National Juvenile Justice Achievement Award for the training program she developed and directed for the Juvenile Justice System of the State of Pennsylvania.

Ms. George holds a Masters of Education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Post graduate she has studied adult learning, behavior science, and group dynamics. She taught at Penn State University for five years prior to beginning her own training and consulting business.  Pauline is a member of the National Speakers Association.  Other memberships include American Society of Training and Development, Pittsburgh Human Resources Association, the Western Pennsylvania Field Institute, and Fellowship of Companies for Christ.
