Since 1982, Olivia Mellan has been a groundbreaker in the field of money psychology, couples communication, and money conflict resolution. She is the author of five critically acclaimed books,Your Money Style (a.k.a. Money Harmony), Overcoming Overspending, Money Shy to Money Sure, (for women), The Advisor’s Guide to Money Psychology, and The Client Connection (for financial advisors).

Mellan has produced an audio-CD set, The Secret Language of Money, based on her moneytalks and her teleclasses. She conducts intergenerational family retreats to facilitate and enhance legacy transfer. She has often been featured on the TODAY Show, ABC's 20-20, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Fox Morning News, on nationwide radio and in the print media.
