Narakesari Narayandas

His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Technology degree, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management, and a Ph.D. in Management.

Narayandas' current research interests focus on business-to-business marketing and management of customer relationships. Narayandas teaches the Business Marketing course to second-year MBA students at the Harvard Business School. He recently received the MBA Class of 2000 Award for teaching excellence. He is the faculty chair of the Business Marketing Strategy program for senior executives held at the Harvard Business School. He also teaches in the Achieving Breakthrough Service program and other public and customized executive programs at the school.

Narayandas' background includes over six years of sales and marketing management experience with various multinational firms that involved field sales and salesforce management, new product development, alliance formation, and marketing communications. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Sloan Management Review, and other journals. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Institute of Management Science.

Narayandas has worked with Compaq, Adecco, Arthur Andersen, Nortel, Allied Signal, 3M and other companies in the areas of Strategic Marketing, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty and Salesforce Management in Business Markets.
