His successful reinvention and globalization of the TaylorMade brand led to a 200% increase in sales during one of the most difficult business cycles in years, overtaking established competitors Callaway and Titleist—no small feat, considering how golf players become to their favorite equipment. In his previous positions in sports marketing for Nike, his expansion efforts drove the NikeTown division’s revenues up ten-fold in less than five years. During his tenure with the Nike Golf business unit, the division recorded a 58% annual compound growth.
