Max Benator

Max Benator is an award-winning producer, entrepreneur and a leader in the digital and multi-platform entertainment space. He is the co-founder and CEO of Orca, which live streams short-form videos and sells product from leading retailers and consumer brands directly on social platforms like TikTok, YouTube and Amazon. Orca has been recognized by Business Insider as one of the 12 Most Innovative Companies in Live Streaming.

Benator is also the owner of Mirus Content Works, which develops, incubates and advises businesses that sit at the intersection of content and commerce. His work has been highlighted in Vanity Fair, the Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY and Vox.

Prior to Orca, Benator was an advisor and founding partner of Doing Things Media, helping it become one of the fastest growing media companies on Instagram with an audience of over 90 million followers. Additionally, he was a partner and executive producer at the Sundance Award-winning animation studio Cartuna, and earlier in his career, the founder of the entertainment studio Supergravity, which was later acquired by AT&T's Otter Media.

Benator has produced over 100 episodes of television and digital entertainment, including serving as executive producer on Nat Geo WILD's "Howie Mandel's Animals Doing Things" and the feature films "The Chosen" and "Rock Steady Row," both of which won top Grand Jury prizes at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival. He has been recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the 50 Most Powerful Executives in Digital Entertainment.
