Leslie Van Romer

Dr. Leslie Van Romer, author of health and weight loss book, Getting into Your Pants, and companion workbook, Getting into Your Pants PlayBook, is a chiropractor, motivational health speaker, and weight loss cheerleader. Offering simple direction and hope, she helps individuals transition to their ideal level of weight and health, while feeling good about themselves all along the way. For over thirty years, Dr. Leslie has built a thriving, full-time chiropractic practice in Sequim, Washington. For the last ten years, she has presented a wide variety of motivational health presentations on weight loss, commonsense healthy food plans, women's health, diabetes, osteoporosis, cancer, heart disease, aging, the top ten killer foods, what's left to eat, and culturally accepted food myths and misconceptions. She makes her audiences dig deep and lifts them up, empowering them to believe in themselves and be the hero of their body-dream-come-true.

In addition, Dr. Leslie gives "Dr. Leslie's Show-n-Tell" demonstrations on healthy, weight loss food planning and preparation, along with motivational presentations, such as "You've Got to Be Different to Make a Difference."

Dr. Leslie, creator of patented weight loss food plan, 10 10 for Life, has produced a series of motivational health CDs and DVDs and created the Community Motivational Health Presentation Package, a series of packaged PowerPoint presentations used by healthcare professionals in their offices and communities. Dr. Leslie, author of over one-hundred articles, many of which are published, writes a weekly on-line newsletter.

Dr. Leslie has expertly helped thousands of people sort fact from fiction, shift their eating and lifestyle choices, and shed the layers, from the inside out. She lives her talk and leads by example. By eating a plant-based diet for years, with emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables, and exercising at least one hour, seven days a week, Dr. Leslie maintains her ideal weight and level of energy, fitness, and health.

As a single mom, Dr. Leslie raised three children in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains in Sequim, Washington. They are now young adults and successfully finding their own paths.
