Kevin Dando is PBS' director of digital marketing and communications and oversees the public broadcaster's social media initiatives and strategies for both its broadcast and online programming, including, for example, its Twitter and Facebook pages, which together have 2M followers, and are growing rapidly. Dando also coordinates overall social media efforts for PBS prime time programs, including the recent hit from MASTERPIECE, "Downton Abbey," which broke on-air, online and social media records for PBS. Dando oversees PBS's YouTube channel, which recently had its 140-millionth video view and generates more than 1 million views/week. He was recently featured in the book "Get Seen: Online Video Secrets to Building Your Business" (John Wiley & Sons, Inc.) and has been a speaker at Digital East, the Internet Summit and South by Southwest (SXSW).
