Ken Tucker

Ken Tucker is a managing consultant with The Gallup Organization. In his role, Tucker translates Gallup research discoveries into meaningful and helpful strategies to improve performance. He consults with clients in the financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries and with academic institutions. His work spans the United States, Canada, South America, and the United Kingdom.

Since joining Gallup in 1999, Tucker has consulted with Gallup clients on building a strengths-based organization, using inclusiveness to drive long-term business outcomes, and focusing on individual strengths to increase per-person productivity. He encourages clients to think critically about business outcomes, and his aim is to promote positive change on a personal and organizational level.

Tucker presents frequently at universities and for business and civic organizations. He uses teaching strategies and an arsenal of stories and anecdotes to effectively reach his audiences.

Tucker is a regular contributor of strengths management columns to the Gallup Management Journal. He is the coauthor of Gallup’s book, Animals, Inc: a Business Parable for the 21st Century (Warner Books, February 2004). Tucker received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He was selected as a Kellogg Fellow in 1998. Ken Tucker is a native of the Bahamas.
