Edelman has come out of the broom closet, rallying fellow accidental housewives to unite, offering sanity saving tips along the way in The Accidental Housewife: How to Overcome Housekeeping Hysteria One Task at A Time to be published by Ballantine Books in April 2006. As a working woman and mom, Edelman combines street smarts, experiences and professional endeavors with a interactive, inspirational and entertaining style to help us master our daily lives, our family, our jobs, and our domain, all with our own individual ways of doing things.

As president of Lifestyle Beat Media, Edelman shares her ‘accidental ways’ regularly on ABC’s The View. She has also appeared on The Early Show, NBC Early Today, WB 11 New York, FOX TV, The Food Network and top network, cable and radio stations nationwide. Edelman is Senior Editor for Best Magazine, lifestyle editor for Beststuff.com and a contributor to New Jersey Monthly Magazine. The author of a children’s cookbook, Once Upon A Recipe (which she claims was a stroke of genius since it got her son into cooking and now she doesn’t have to!), she has contributed to Cargo, First for Women, and Scholastic’s Parent & Child Magazine. She also serves as a national spokesperson for select Fortune 100 companies.

Featured in Time magazine, Parenting, Good Housekeeping, The Wall Street Journal, Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living, Cooking Light, HFN, Toy Wishes Magazine and newspapers nationwide, Edelman is considered the “go to” gal for many work/life balance tips. Prior to becoming a family lifestyle correspondent and spokesperson, she worked with Simon & Schuster on branding and program development for their in-school television network.

A former Senior VP with Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Edelman was instrumental in creating national marketing campaigns for companies including American Express, ABC TV, Burger King, Campbell Foods, CBS TV, Clairol, Disney, Duracell, General Foods, Hanes, Paramount, Pepsi, Revlon, Rums of Puerto Rico and Universal Studios.
