Judith Parker Harris

Judith Parker Harris is the founder of Health-Esteem, International, which provides courses, workshops and coaching programs to individuals, businesses and organizations. Her work with clients is based upon creating room for the undiscovered possibilities of life by discarding negative, absorbed or inherited thought and emotional patterns that sabotage healthy living, working and loving goals.

"You can handle anything," Judith Parker Harris proclaims. She found that out in 1985 when her business and personal life nearly crashed due to a health crisis. On July 24, 1985, when Ms. Harris was driving home from her successful advertising business in Los Angeles, she completely lost the center of her vision and could only see things around the edges of a black hole. Days later she began to lose the feeling in her body from her waist to her toes. Soon she received the diagnosis: Multiple Sclerosis! Judith Parker Harris was 35 years old. The diagnosis shocked her into action, and she began a process that involved changing the foundational elements of her life. By 1990, her multiple sclerosis symptoms had disappeared and have never returned. Judith now shares the lessons and methods she learned to recreate a healthy life. "My goal," says Judith Parker Harris, "is to make it easier for people to start and maintain the healing process in their lives, no matter what the dilemma." Her method is to kick people out of sick-making life patterns and into taking charge of their thoughts and emotions by understanding their source. She warns, "You can't take out the garbage if you are not willing to get hold of it."

Judith Parker Harris has brought her extensive background in advertising, film performing art, business consultation and writing into her professional speaking and coaching. Before starting Health-Esteem, she established a multi-million dollar advertising agency that specialized in marketing national healthcare chains. She pioneered brand advertising for healthcare products such as plastic surgery, chemical dependency and mental health. Judith Parker Harris has produced and directed over 3,000 television commercials and served as on-camera spokesperson for a national retail chain.

Currently a vice president of Women in Film, Judith Parker Harris was instrumental in uniting the entertainment community in the production of pro bono public service announcements for local and national charities serving women and children. For this effort, she was invited to the White House and personally congratulated by First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. She is currently working with the U.S. Department of Commerce to create a campaign to change the image of Information Technology workers from geeks, nerds and eggheads in order to encourage teens to pursue careers in science and technology.
