Josiah Albertsen is Partner Manager & Catalog Specialist for Pandora. As Partner Manager, he ensures the songs people submit to Pandora are curated and licensed correctly.
Previously, Albertsen confounded and served as CEO of Parallel which is a virtual reality storytelling company focused on the music world. He has also serve on the advisory board for SXSW Music and organized/moderated many panels there and at other conference over the years. These panels include discussions regarding the music industry, entrepreneurship, and financial planning for: SXSW, the Denver Music Summit, The Underground Music Showcase, Billboard Music & Touring Conference, Seattle TechStars, Denver Startup Week, and many more.
As a wealth manager, Albertsen managed millions of dollars in investments as a wealth manager for music and tech industry clients.
Throughout his career Albertsen has served on the boards of music non-profits and helped organize events connecting local music industry professionals with those in the broader industry.
His career began interning with indie record labels, touring, managing friends' bands, managing and talent buying a small DIY venue (with a cool disco ball), and being surrounded by those who loved music and did the same.
