With these four words Jim Hindman, renowned entrepreneur and founder of the Jiffy Lube franchise, would face the biggest challenge of his life at age fifty-seven when he was diagnosed with macular degeneration, an age-related progressive disease that leads to blindness.

Throughout his successful career, Hindman had always met challenges head-on, but nothing prepared him for the impact macular degeneration would have on his life.
