Jeff Miller Biography
Jeff Miller is Wheelz’ Founder and CEO and the driving force behind the Wheelz vision and product strategy. Jeff has spent the better part of the last three years focused on building sustainable transportation solutions, working for electric vehicle network provider Better Place. He also spent a few years working for the Boston Consulting Group, and a brief stint at the United Nations in Kenya.
Jeff graduated from Northwestern University where he studied math and economics, and subsequently completed an MBA from Stanford and a MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School. Between the ivory towers, he got as far away from the classroom possible, first as a mountain guide in British Columbia, then teaching English in Costa Rica, and finally raising chickens in Uzbekistan as part of a micro-finance project.
When he is not working, Jeff likes to “relax” by kite-surfing, rock climbing, skiing, backpacking, and occasionally sleeping. Other fun facts: Jeff once spent more than 180 nights in a sleeping bag in a single year; he was attacked by a pack of dingos while sleeping on a beach in Australia. He doesn’t always drink beer, but when he does...well, you know.
