Managing Partner Jeff Crowe has been with Norwest Venture Partners since 2004, but only made his debut on the Midas List in 2014. Crowe has served on the Board of Directors for Lending Club, a crowdsourced funding startup, since investing in its Series A funding in 2007. NVP is Lending Club's largest investor. In 2014, Lending Club had the largest US-based internet IPO and was second only to Alibaba globally. In the past year, four of Crowe's portfolio companies were acquired--Spotify acquired The Echo Nest, 21st Century Fox acquired true[x], Alibaba acquired AdChina, and Uber acquired deCarta. Crowe also invests in RetailMeNot (which had its IPO in 2013), Minted, Jet, Madison Reed, Glint, and HoneyBook. A Dartmouth alum, Crowe hosts the college's annual Entrepreneurs Forum which brings Dartmouth alumni to San Francisco each September.
