James Ryle

Placed in an orphanage at the age of seven, and sentenced to the Texas State Penitentiary at the age of nineteen, James Ryle's life is a powerful and uplifting story of how God's grace can work all things together for good. His ability to connect with people of all ages, combined with a keen sense of humor and sensitivity to the moment, make James one of the most sought after speakers in today's world. James Ryle is the President and Founder of TruthWorks Ministries, a teaching a resourcing ministry helping individuals live real, relevant and significant lives for Christ. He has been involved in public speaking since 1972, serving as pastor of two churches, chaplain for the University of Colorado football team, and ministering as an evangelist, Bible teacher and popular conference speaker throughout the Nation and abroad. He is a best-selling author, and a contributor to both the NKJV Spirit Filled Life Bible, and the NIV Worship Leader’s Bible.

James is one of the founding Board members of Promise Keepers, and has spoken at multiple PK stadium events around the country. On October 4, 1997 in the Nation’s Capitol, James delivered the Gospel message at Stand in the Gap ~ an event attended by over 1.4 million men, and broadcast to over 20 different nations around the world.

James and his wife, Belinda, have four grown children and currently live in Tennessee.
