Elizabeth Rodbell Biography
Liz Rodbell has served as Executive Vice President of Merchandising at upscale specialty department store Lord & Taylor since 2008. In her role, she oversees the merchant organization in the women's ready-to-wear, shoes accessories, handbags, and home categories.
Ms. Rodbell joined Lord & Taylor in 1985 as a dress buyer. Within two years she was promoted to Divisional Merchandise Manager for the dress category. She was then promoted in 1992 to Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of suits, coats, intimate apparel and children's. In this role, she assumed responsibilities across all Lord & Taylor's business categories and was eventually promoted to Executive Vice President of Merchandising, overseeing all women's merchandise categories.
After graduating from Wood Tobe Coburn's executive retail program in 1977, Ms. Rodbell began her retail career at former A&S department stores in the executive training program and became a buyer before joining Lord & Taylor. She currently serves on the board of Fashion Group International.
