Elisabeth Allison

Dr. Elisabeth K. Allison, Ph.D. has been a Senior Partner of ANZI Ltd. since 1995.

She served as Chief Business Advisor and Chief Negotiator for the Harvard Medical School in its publishing and media ventures. Prior to joining ANZI, she served as Senior Vice President of Development of the McGraw-Hill Companies and Associate Professor of Economics at Harvard.

During her tenure at MHC, she was responsible for corporate M&A activities, corporate planning and completed more than 40 acquisitions and joint ventures. She also held other positions including head of corporate real estate and publisher of Data Communications.

Dr. Allison began her career at the economic forecasting and modeling firm, Data Resources Inc. (DRI), as a Senior Economist and Vice President where she was responsible for large-scale econometric modeling.

She served as Chairperson of Color Kinetics Inc. as well as a Director or an Independent Director of various funds of American Fund Complex. Allison also served as a Director of Helicos BioSciences Corporation from January 2008 to February 25, 2011.

She served on the boards of three mutual funds of the Capital Research and Management Corporation, as the Lead Independent Director of Color Kinetics Inc. and Director of Color Kinetics Inc. from 2002 to August 2007.

She holds an A.B. from Harvard College and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Economics Department.
