David A. Krebs

Specific research assignments ranged from end-user adoption analysis of emerging AIDC technologies to development of sizing and forecasting models of AIDC technologies.

David’s experience in consulting with AIDC suppliers includes: comparative product performance evaluation, missionary sales and market expansion requirements analysis, and merger and acquisition due diligence advisory support.

David has authored or co-authored reports on radio frequency identification systems, bar code scanning systems, bar code printing systems, portable data collection and rugged computing systems and wireless LAN systems.

David is a regularly featured speaker on AIDC markets at a number of industry conferences, including: Frontline Solutions, Information Management Institute Workshops, and AIM Executive Forums. David consistently contributes to a number of AIDC, mobile computing, industrial control and retail automation industry publications, including: ID Systems, Frontline Solutions, SCAN The Data Capture Report, Modern Materials Handling, and Business Solutions.

Prior to joining VDC, David was employed at Softbank Comdex as a Market Research Analyst, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of domestic and international IT market research projects. David’s additional experience includes international marketing positions with Sony and AT&T.

David studied Business Administration, Marketing and Market Research at Boston University.
