You've seen my (often gigantic) mug shot on the Sporting News site since it launched in 1996. Once known only as Sports Bahr, I've been with the Fantasy Source focusing on baseball and football since 2003. My job as a fantasy expert/owner combines two of my greatest loves: sports and educated guessing.
You know you're getting old when someone tells you Justin Speier is Chris Speier's kid -- and you know what they’re talking about. And you really worry about getting old when you’ve spent most of your life telling everyone within earshot that you’d give five years of your life to see a Red Sox world championship. I literally could drop dead at any moment, though I'd die happy thanks to those Idiots.
Sad but true: I spend most weeknights in my basement with my MLB Extra Innings package, and I study every baseball box score every night. The weekends? I'll watch the games at a bar. A few of my favorite things: responding to hate e-mail, making telemarketers hang up on me, and acting like a moron in public.
