Aimee Johnson

Aimee Johnson is a strategic advisor for EdTech startup ATypicalAI and for venture capital fund Anthos Capital. A former CMO at Zillow, she is a marketing executive and customer-centric innovation expert with deep roots in consumer experience, digital product launches, strategic branding and driving customer loyalty.

Prior to Zillow, Johnson was at Starbucks for 14 years, serving as Senior Vice President of marketing programs, customer analytics and digital innovation. This included growing Starbucks Rewards, launching Mobile Order and Pay, and developing their Personalization engine. In previous Starbucks roles, she ran the beverage and coffee product divisions and corporate social responsibility marketing. For 10 years prior to Starbucks, she held a variety of marketing, brand management, analytics and general management roles at Campbell Soup Company. Before that, Johnson was a computer programmer at Sallie Mae.

Johnson has the ability to develop and rapidly monetize forward-thinking next-generation technology solutions to identify and meet specific marketplace needs, drive customer lifetime value and build loyalty via consumer insights and customer analytics. She possesses a unique combination of classic consumer packaged goods training, P&L management experience and physical retail/digital visioning and execution skills at premier organizations.

She holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a B.S. from Virginia Tech.
