Sean Hayes Biography
Sean Hayes is an Emmy and Tony Award–winning actor, comedian, producer, and podcast host whose career spans television, film, and Broadway. He is best known for his breakout role as Jack McFarland on "Will & Grace," which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award, four SAG Awards, and six Golden Globe nominations.
Beyond television, Hayes has appeared in a wide range of films including "Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss," "Cats & Dogs," "Pieces of April," "The Cat in the Hat," "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!," "The Bucket List," and "The Three Stooges." He is also the co-founder of Hazy Mills Productions, the company behind series such as "Grimm," "Hot in Cleveland," "The Soul Man", and "Hollywood Game Night."
On stage, Hayes has earned acclaim for his Broadway work, including "An Act of God" and "Promises, Promises," for which he received a Tony nomination. He later won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his role as Oscar Levant in "Good Night, Oscar." He also hosted the 64th Tony Awards, winning a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Special Class Program.
Hayes continues to expand his influence in entertainment as co-host of the hit podcast SmartLess alongside Jason Bateman and Will Arnett.
