Stephen L. Weiss is a Wall Street investor and financial commentator with a career spanning more than three decades at major financial institutions. Weiss has held senior positions at Salomon Brothers, SAC Capital (now Point72), and Lehman Brothers. After working as a tax attorney, Weiss began his Wall Street career as an institutional salesperson and later co-managed Salomon Brothers' Global Equity Research Department, where he developed a global research product integrating efforts from Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. He also worked at SAC Capital, co-managing the firm for hedge fund manager Steven Cohen, before joining Lehman Brothers in senior management roles focused on revitalizing the equity business.

Weiss serves as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of Short Hills Capital Partners, a private investment manager, and as Managing Director at Cedar Pine LLC, a private investment firm specializing in healthcare, finance, and real estate. Weiss sits on the boards of Digital Diagnostics and Nimble Robotics and is a board observer at Wasabi Technologies.
