Megan Stalter emerged into the public eye with her role as Kayla in the HBO Max comedy "Hacks." She has shown her versatility as a performer and writer, being a part of the reboot of "The National Lampoon Radio Hour." Her individual projects, including the web series "The Megan Stalter Show" and the Forever Dog podcast "Confronting Demons with Megan Stalter," showcase her ability to engage audiences with her unique comedic style. Stalter has also lent her voice to the character Bonnie Davis in the Paramount+ original series "Tooning Out the News."
Stalter's diverse range of roles continued to broaden as she joined the cast of the film "The Treasure of Foggy Mountain" in 2023, playing park ranger Lisa. Her talent was recognized by New York magazine, which named her one of the "comedians you should and will know in 2019." This was further validated by The New York Times critic Jason Zinoman, who declared her "sketch comedy's newest star" in 2020. Stalter's reach extended into reality television as she appeared as a guest judge on "RuPaul's Drag Race" in 2023.
Stalter stars in the Netflix series "Too Much," which was released in 2025. She also made appearances in music videos for Kacey Musgraves' "simple times" and Muna's "What I Want."
