Constance Zimmer

Constance Zimmer is an Emmy-nominated American actress, director, and advocate whose career spans more than two decades in television and film. Trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Zimmer began her career in theater, earning a Dramalogue Award for Best Actress for her work in a Los Angeles production of "Catholic School Girls," before transitioning to screen roles. Her early work included guest appearances on series such as "Seinfeld," "The X-Files," and "Ellen," as well as recurring roles in both comedy and drama.

Zimmer gained wider recognition through television roles that highlighted her versatility in both comedic and dramatic genres. She portrayed studio executive Dana Gordon for six seasons on HBO's "Entourage," later reprising the role in the feature film adaptation. Zimmer also served as a series lead on ABC's "Boston Legal" and appeared in multiple seasons of the Netflix political thriller "House of Cards" and HBO's "The Newsroom."

A defining role for Zimmer came as Quinn King, executive producer of a fictional dating show, on Lifetime's drama series "UnREAL." She starred in the Amazon series "Shelter," based on Harlan Coben's book trilogy, and appeared in recurring roles on ABC's "Big Sky" and Peacock's "The Calling." Her film credits include "Results" and the Warner Bros. feature "Chaos Theory." Zimmer has also contributed voice work to animated projects including "Transformers: Robots in Disguise" and "BoJack Horseman." Zimmer was featured in "Love Story: John F. Zimmer is a co-founder of The Midlife Collective, a media company and movement focused on reshaping narratives around women and aging. The initiative includes a doc-theater collaboration called "The Midlife Monologues." With a career defined by complex characters and work behind the camera, Zimmer maintains a significant presence in the entertainment industry, contributing to conversations about representation and storytelling in Hollywood.
