Tim Allen

Tim Allen began his career in 1975 as a comedian, regularly performing at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. He garnered attention for his roles in popular TV shows and films, including his Golden Globe Award-winning role in "Home Improvement," and his voice acting as Buzz Lightyear in the "Toy Story" franchise, for which he won an Annie Award. Allen also played Scott Calvin and Santa Claus in "The Santa Clause" franchise, with the latest release in 2023. Furthermore, he starred in "Last Man Standing" from 2011 to 2021, and "Shifting Gears," which premiered in 2025. His other notable films include "Jungle 2 Jungle," "Galaxy Quest," "Joe Somebody," "Big Trouble," "Christmas with the Kranks," "The Shaggy Dog," "Wild Hogs," "The Six Wives of Henry Lefay," and "Crazy on the Outside."

In addition to his acting roles, Allen made his film directorial debut with "Crazy on the Outside" in 2010. He has been the official voice for Chevrolet Cruze and Campbell Soup Company campaigns since 2010, and has narrated "Pure Michigan" commercials for the Travel Michigan agency since 2009. He has also co-hosted the History Channel series "More Power" since 2022. Allen has been recognized multiple times for his work, including being inducted into the Kids' Choice Awards Hall of Fame in 1996, receiving a motion pictures star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard in 2004, and being inducted into the Diecast Hall of Fame in 2017.

Allen's work extends beyond acting and directing, as he is also known for his philanthropic activities. He raises awareness about homelessness and actively participates in related activities. Allen is also an avid car collector, having updated his notable car collection in 2023. He is expected to return as Buzz Lightyear in "Toy Story 5" and will continue his role as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus in Disney's "The Santa Clauses."
